Hello everyone,
I chose New Driver's franchise for my pink licence mainly because of the brand and also the fact that they offered the best deal in my area for the pupils. It certainly helped that the advice I received from them whilst comparing alternatives was friendly and, most importantly to me, it seemed that New Driver offered the best price.

" I was really struggling to find my feet as a PDI between June and October 2007. After 40 hours training for Part 3, I couldn't make sense of the methods with which I had been told to teach new drivers. I was working with a company at the time with no Instructor support, no extra training, and no supply of students.
It was time to either give up, or find a company who understood instructors and could give extra training, and find students, as my time on the PDI licence was running out.

I was browsing on the internet in the middle of October 2007 and came across an advert " Wanted -PDI's and ADI's in your area" --- How did they know they wanted me and which area I was in ??
I was certainly looking for a new company, so decided to see about joining New Driver - and except to teach the correct observations to my students , I have never looked back !

The office staff with whom I discussed my future career, were polite, friendly and very professional. I had a call almost immediately from the Instructor Trainer, arranging extra training with me, and as he explained methods to me, everything became more understandable and very much more simple than previous training had seemed.

My diary was almost full of students within 2 weeks. I passed the Part 3 test in March 2008, actually understanding the requirements and how to cope with PST's. Now I have more students than I can teach because they phone me direct on recommendation from friends, and because my reputation and that of New Driver has gone before, and is of professional, friendly teaching from a very well organised company .

I am now undergoing CPD courses in Fleet Training and have qualified in Company Presentations, I have 2 days training planned and NVQ 2 and NVQ 3 qualifications by Christmas 2008.
I am really enjoying working with New Driver, and can look forward to a very bright future in my career, knowing that I have freedom to choose when, where and how much I want to do.
