New Driver appointed Dave Foster in March 2009, one of the most qualified driving instructors in the country, to look after your training needs.
 
Dave oversees both in-house and on-road training using a team of highly qualified instructor trainers but delivers most in-house training courses personally.  Courses are written and delivered to meet the requirements of continuing professional development (CPD) that will be set by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA).
 
Dave has a long list of relevant industry qualifications and is the holder of Master of Arts degree in Driving Training Education.
 
His other qualifications include;
 

• DIA Diploma in Driving Instruction
• DSA ORDIT (Official Register of Driving Instructor Trainers)
• DSA Fleet
• Grade six fleet and ADI
• City and Guilds 7407 classroom teaching certificate
• AIRSO member (Association of Industrial Road Safety Officers)
• Associate member of the Institute for learners 

Dave is also the current chairman on the General Purposes Committee (GPC) of the DIA, this is a voluntary position where Dave represents the members and acts as a liaison with the DIA for issues that affect Driving Instructors and the promotion of CPD.
