ACCREDITATIONS

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) is the United Kingdom Governments body responsible for:
Setting standards for drivers, riders and trainers
Driver education and the provision of learning resources
Registering and supervising quality assured instructors
Modern, effective and efficient assessments conducted as computer based and practical tests
The Official Register of Driving Instructor Training (ORDIT) is operated and administered by the DSA. The aim of ORDIT is to maintain, produce and promote the current register of driving instructor training organisations and driving instructor trainers that can be relied upon by the public, the driver training industry and the Driving Standards Agency to provide good quality training by qualified trainers, from premises that are ORDIT inspected and meet satisfactory standards and from organisations that have agreed to abide by the terms and conditions of the scheme.
The main objectives of the ORDIT scheme are to ensure that:
Satisfactory standards of training are available for members of the public wishing to qualify as Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs)
Satisfactory standards of training are available for ADIs who wish to receive further training or re-training
All trainers delivering training under the schemehave been tested by the DSA and accepted as being suitable for entry on to the register.
New Driver is extremely pleased to have successfully passed the required standard at the first attempt.

New Driver is accredited by the Driving Standards Agency to deliver courses to enable instructors to enter the Fleet Training Register at the DSA.
New Driver is proud to be awarded the “Investors in People” national business standard. The award involves an independent assessor examining 10 areas of company procedure to ensure best business practice is achieved. New Driver passed all 10 areas first time and has since had its 3 yearly re-assessment and again passed first time .
