New Driver Masterclasses
As the result of more than 20 years of teaching people to pass their test, we know there are some basic elements of driving that our pupils want to concentrate on once they’ve passed.
As a result, we’ve designed two, three-hour mini courses, cover everything from filling the tank and driving economically, to how to handle your vehicle in a skid situation.
Driving Masterclass
TIME 3 HOURS
COST £70
LOCATION LOCAL TO YOU
This is a great mini - course that covers elements of driving not normally part of the Provisional Licence holders curriculum.
You will look at:
- Motorway driving – approaching and exit of motorways
- Overtaking on a motorway
- Carparks – best parking practice for both open plan and multi-storey car parks
- Petrol stations – tips on fuel economy and practical experience of filling up
- Route Planning – Guidance on how best to plan your journey – use of Sat Nav / Maps and various websites
Motorway Driving
It’s that old problem: as a learner driver you were not allowed to drive on the motorway, but now you’ve passed and can drive on the motorway, you may be a little nervous because you don’t have the experience or confidence to do so.
Well it’s easy when you know how. Motorway rules and etiquette are quite different from those you’d have experienced as a learner driver, so as part of the Pass Plus and New Driver Driving Masterclass courses, our patient, friendly and experienced instructors will teach you to:
- approach the motorway: observation, speed, indication and joining;
- drive on the motorway: lane etiquette, observation, seeing and avoiding incidents, changing lanes, speed and indication;
- leaving the motorway: preparation, observation, indication, signalling, speed and safety;
- emergency safety: what to do and how to be safe in the event of a breakdown or accident.
Take our motorway driving course and get the experience and confidence you need to drive on some of the nation’s busiest roads.
Parking and Manoeuvres Masterclass
TIME 3 HOURS

LOCATION LOCAL TO YOU
If you want to build on these every day manoeuvres, then
this is a great mini-course for you. It will build upon your
existing skills and knowledge.
You will look at:
- Reverse parking – left and right
- Parallel parking
- Roundabout Guidance
- Skid control advice – driving in icy conditions
- Or alternatively you may have other manoeuvres you would like additional help with.
Familiarisation Course
TIME 2 HOURS
COST £50
LOCATION LOCAL TO YOU
Ok, so you’ve spent the last few months learning to drive and passed your test in a particular type of car, but it is quite different to your own car, especially as there are no dual controls!
Take advantage of our familiarisation course by having one of our instructors sit alongside you in your own car. It’s a course designed to get you started and improve your confidence by mastering the particular characteristics of driving your own vehicle, such as a different clutch point and sharpness of brakes.

For whatever reason, it sometimes happens that you don’t drive for a while, it could be that you passed your test before you went to University but didn’t need to drive while you were there; you may have worked in the centre of town and found public transport more affordable than daily parking, or perhaps you just didn’t need to drive so you sold your car, but your circumstances have changed and you want to get back behind the wheel.
