All our male and female instructors are registered and regulated by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). They are able to help you with all driving related topics including your theory test and practical exam, refresher lessons, advanced driving, fleet driver training, ORDIT training, extended tests, Pass Plus courses and automatic driving lessons.

All beginners receive 2 FREE lessons with us. The First lesson is a FREE assessment lesson where you can familiarise yourself with the car and get to know your instructor. You will also receive a second FREE lesson with us on the day of your test providing you have had a minimum of 10 paid lessons with us.

New Driver welcomes pupils who are looking for FAST TRACK and INTENSIVE COURSES and we will match your personal requirements with either a male or lady instructor who is right for you.

As long as you hold a provisional licence and are 17 years of age you are able to take a driving lesson. You can apply for your driving test up to 8 weeks before your 17 th birthday.

If you are looking for a birthday or a celebratory gift in the form of vouchers, or simply wanting to prepay for a set number of lessons, our friendly customer care team will be happy to help. Also, by prepaying for 10 lessons with either vouchers or directly to the instructor, you will enable a further reduction and discount on our already competitive prices with our block booking discount.

Once you have passed your ordinary driving test, New Driver can also help you with a PASS PLUS driving course. PASS PLUS is a training scheme for new drivers. It's much more than just a few extra lessons. This is a specially designed course by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry. You will have expert tuition on motorway procedures, night driving and country driving.

We offer 5 FREE hours instructor training provided by fully qualified Instructor trainers to all PDI qualified instructors who take out a franchise with New Driver.
